MUFG is hiring a Software Engineering Vice President to serve as the technology lead for its Trade Finance solutions. The individual contributor will provide technical direction across architecture, engineering, integration, data, cloud, security, and platform modernization; partner with engineering, product, operations, compliance, vendors, and other stakeholders; and guide delivery teams without direct people-management responsibility. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline, at least 10 years of hands-on software development experience including 5 years of leadership, and expertise in commercial banking, application architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, data engineering, and enterprise AI. The position is hybrid, with four days per week at an MUFG office or client site and one remote day, and offers a base salary of $149,000–$205,000 in New York or New Jersey, or $149,000–$188,000 elsewhere.
