Description
The Applications Architect provides architectural leadership and oversight for enterprise and academic application systems in a public higher education environment. The role designs, integrates, governs, and upgrades application solutions; reviews code and technical designs; maintains architecture and security documentation; establishes architectural standards; and collaborates with stakeholders, developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a computer science or information technology-related field and five to ten or more years of progressively responsible software development experience focused on application architecture and system design.
