Flex is hiring an Application Electrical Engineer in Vaughan, Ontario, to prepare material and labor cost estimates for relay and control panel, switchgear, and steel enclosure manufacturing projects. The role involves reviewing proposals and technical documents, communicating with customers during the bid phase, identifying labor, material, and time requirements, submitting estimates, attending bid meetings, maintaining supplier pricing, and collaborating with engineering, business development, and project management teams. The position reports to the Mechanical Engineering Manager and requires at least five years of experience as an estimator or in a similar role, along with electrical and mechanical drawing knowledge, Excel proficiency, and prior switchgear or relay control panel experience.
