Description
The Applications Engineer works with sales, engineering, scheduling, operations, procurement, and accounting to configure and quote Delkor packaging solutions. The role leads quoting projects by preparing system costing reports, layout drawings, proposals, and project financial data; presents quoted projects internally and to customers; and serves as the subject-matter expert on Delkor’s commercial product lines. The position requires engineering or packaging education or equivalent experience, 3–5 years of capital equipment or industrial automation manufacturing experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Excel, and related tools. Approximately 90% of the work is office-based, with 10% on an assembly floor and 5–10% annual travel. The salary range is $70,000–$95,000, with health, dental, and vision coverage and other benefits.
