Fathom is hiring a Senior Applications Engineer to lead technical and commercial strategy for complex CNC manufacturing opportunities in aerospace and defense. The role develops proposals, conducts design-for-manufacturability reviews, evaluates machining and tooling strategies, supports customer discovery and negotiations, and leads manufacturing transition and program onboarding. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent precision-manufacturing experience, at least seven years of CNC or manufacturing engineering experience, and strong business development and technical selling skills.
