NextSilicon is hiring an Applications Engineer to move high-performance computing applications onto new platforms, evaluate node- and scale-level performance, identify bottlenecks, and develop algorithmic and software solutions that accelerate applications on a novel dataflow architecture. The role involves translating application requirements into software and hardware features, developing performance models, and working across scientific domains such as graph algorithms, weather prediction, genomics, and computational fluid dynamics. The position is hybrid in Austin, Texas or Minneapolis, Minnesota, with remote work considered for exceptional candidates.
