Description
The Applications Engineer reviews customer specifications and electrical drawings, translates customer designs into accurate and competitive proposals, evaluates sub-vendor options, supports sales and engineering staff, and contributes to product specifications, costing tools, and cost-out initiatives. The role requires knowledge of low- and medium-voltage distribution equipment and substation design, electrical drawing interpretation, communication, problem-solving, and computer skills including AutoCAD, Oracle, and Microsoft Office. A B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline, or two or more years of related experience with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, is required.
