Smith Pump Company is hiring an Application Engineer for its Austin office to serve as the technical point of contact for municipal water and wastewater pumping projects across Texas and Oklahoma. The role covers plan and specification review, pump and equipment selection, estimating and quoting, order entry, equipment purchasing, customer and vendor coordination, and project delivery. The position is office-based with periodic travel to Waco for training and requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, along with the ability to interpret construction plans and communicate with engineers and non-technical customers.
