Description
The Applications Engineer serves as a technical interface between UEI’s customers and internal engineering, product management, sales, and design teams. The role leads product specifications, requirements, feasibility, cost and NRE estimations, software integration, cloud communication, and OS requirements, while coordinating cross-functional initiatives and resolving complex technical bottlenecks. It requires at least two years of consumer-oriented product experience, knowledge of RF and IP protocols and firmware, strong communication and project coordination skills, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related engineering discipline. The position is 40 hours on-site per week, requires travel mainly in the United States and Canada, and includes health and welfare and retirement plan benefits.
