JR Automation is hiring a full-time Application Engineer in Auburn Hills, Michigan, for a hybrid role requiring three to four onsite days per week. The role develops custom automated equipment solutions, reviews customer technical specifications, creates proposals and concept solutions, coordinates quotes and project reviews, manages customer relationships, and supports account managers and less experienced engineers. Candidates need at least five years of industry experience leading successful projects, a bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field or related industry experience, and proficiency in applications engineering processes and tools; mechanical or mechatronics engineering and Body in White quoting experience are preferred.
