STMicroelectronics is hiring an Applications Engineer focused on Design Enablement to support customers developing high-speed optical interconnects for AI infrastructure, GPU clusters, and hyperscale data centers. The role bridges foundry customers designing EIC and PIC components with ST’s silicon photonics, SiGe BiCMOS, advanced packaging, and related process technologies, providing PDK and IP support, training, technical guidance, reference-design participation, and coordination through product tape-out and production ramp-up. Candidates should have product development or applications expertise in silicon photonics, high-speed RF/SiGe BiCMOS, or CMOS image sensor R&D, along with semiconductor and data-center interconnect knowledge.
