Description
The Applications Engineer / Specialist / Associate supports engineering sales for food-processing project opportunities by interpreting customer requirements, designing and configuring equipment, preparing technical drawings, cost studies, proposals, and bid documents, and handing won projects to Project Management. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, P.Eng. registration or specialist-level treatment, and hands-on experience with food processing, mechanical equipment, sales, project estimation, proposal writing, equipment manufacturing, P&IDs, and refrigeration. AutoCAD 2D drafting, mechanical aptitude, communication, collaboration, and MS Office proficiency are also required.
