Description
QED Technologies is hiring a Manager of Applications Engineering in Rochester, New York, to lead a global team of 6–10 applications engineers and interns. The role manages customer demonstrations and training, technical sales and marketing support, customer support, machine order processes, R&D and product development input, and new business opportunities. It requires a B.S. in Optical Engineering or a closely related field, at least 7 years of relevant industry experience, and experience in precision optics, photonics, semiconductor manufacturing, or another precision manufacturing industry. The position is primarily based at QED’s headquarters, with possible remote work for some tasks, domestic and international travel of approximately 10–15%, and no visa sponsorship.
