Description
Standard Bots is hiring an Applications Engineering Manager to lead Applications Engineers across a West Coast territory, manage workload and customer engagements, serve as a senior technical escalation point, and remain hands-on with robotic-cell commissioning and complex integrations. The role requires mechanical, electrical, software, PLC, robot, Python, and CAD expertise, at least five years of applications engineering or automation experience, two years of people-management experience, and a bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline or equivalent experience. It is technically remote but requires living on the West Coast, up to 25% domestic travel, and reporting to the VP of Applications Engineering. Compensation is $140,000 to $180,000, with medical, dental, and vision insurance among the benefits.
