Synopsys is hiring a Principal Engineer for Interface IP, Applications in Sunnyvale, California. The role leads customer engagements, technical solution design, and adoption of Synopsys IP for ASIC, SoC, and chiplet projects; it requires deep IC design expertise, semiconductor industry experience, strong communication and project-management skills, and knowledge of protocols such as SerDes, UCIe, PCIe, DDR, USB, MIPI, and Ethernet. The position is not remote-eligible and offers a base salary of $184,000 to $276,000, with possible annual bonus, equity, and discretionary bonuses.
