Description
Synopsys is hiring a PCIe System Architect/Principal Engineer to lead customer-facing technical architecture engagements for PCIe/CXL controller IP in complex SoC platforms. The role works with customer architects and engineering teams to define subsystem configurations, evaluate performance, power, reliability, validation, compliance, and interoperability trade-offs, translate requirements into product and R&D feedback, support design-won closure, develop technical guidance, and train FAEs and customer teams. The position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field and at least 10 years of experience in PCIe/CXL architecture, SoC integration, silicon validation, systems engineering, applications engineering, or customer-facing technical leadership. The role is not remote-eligible and offers a base salary of $184,000 to $276,000 across the United States, with potential annual bonus, equity, and discretionary bonuses.
