Description
Synopsys is hiring a Principal Applications Engineer to lead complex customer engagements involving the integration, bring-up, deployment, and technical support of Memory Interface PHY IP and related controller and interface solutions. The role focuses on silicon bring-up, lab and post-silicon debugging, customer-facing technical problem-solving, documentation, training, and cross-functional collaboration, with occasional travel of up to 15–20%. It requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronics engineering or a related field, at least 10 years of experience with memory and interface IP, and proficiency in Linux, Verilog, and/or VHDL. The position is remote-eligible and offers a base salary of $184,000–$276,000 across the United States, with potential bonus, equity, and other discretionary benefits.
