Description

Synopsys is hiring a Principal Application Engineer to support customers integrating Interface IP into complex SoC designs. The role provides technical guidance, resolves integration, implementation, and debug challenges, supports silicon and system bring-up, and collaborates with R&D, product, and field teams. It requires strong VLSI design expertise, RTL coding, high-speed protocol knowledge, simulation, synthesis, and static timing analysis experience, along with a BSEE/BSCE or MSEE/MSCE degree and 10+ years of experience or equivalent experience. The position is remote-eligible and may be considered in Austin, Texas, or Mississauga, Canada.

Additional Information

Experience with Ethernet, DDR, and PCIe
Hands-on experience with simulation, synthesis, and static timing analysis
Familiarity with UNIX environments and ASIC/SoC tape-out processes
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of CDC, RDC, lint, DFT, STA, and LEC
