Description
Synopsys is hiring a Principal Post-Silicon Applications Engineer in Porto, Portugal, to provide senior technical support for PCIe 6.0 and PCIe 7.0 silicon bring-up and production. The role leads root-cause analysis of signal integrity, protocol compliance, interoperability, PAM4, FLIT mode, link training, and system-level issues; uses high-bandwidth laboratory instrumentation and Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL analysis; and collaborates with customer architects and internal design teams. The position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or electronics engineering and at least 10 years of post-silicon validation, applications engineering, or SerDes bring-up experience, with approximately twice-yearly travel to customer or internal sites.
