Description

Synopsys is seeking an experienced EDA Applications Engineer to lead Tier-1 customer engagements on RTL power analysis for AI accelerators, mobile processors, and complex SoCs. The role focuses on Prime Power RTL 2.0 methodology, multi-tool integration, power-flow architecture, calibration of RTL and PrimeTime PX data, cross-tool escalations, and coaching Staff-level Applications Engineers. The engineer will also support sales benchmarking, executive customer alignment, and feedback to R&D and Product Marketing.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, a Master's degree with 8+ years of experience, with a PhD preferred.
Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years of experience in EDA applications engineering, design consulting, or IC design.
At least a decade of power analysis expertise beyond tool operation.
Experience debugging glitch storms, calibrating WCDF files, and tracing UPF violations.
Experience leading engineers in complex, data-intensive technical engagements.
Preferred Qualifications: PhD preferred
