Synopsys is hiring a Senior Applications Engineer in Bengaluru to provide high-level technical support for Ansys Lumerical customers and channel partners. The role owns customer problems, delivers pre-sales and post-sales solutions, conducts training, scopes professional services projects, gathers customer feedback for product development, tests software releases, and contributes to knowledge-base initiatives. Candidates need a master’s degree in a relevant engineering or physics field, at least two years of relevant engineering experience, optical and photonics knowledge, familiarity with optical simulation tools, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
