Description

Synopsys is hiring an FPGA Technical Support Engineer to provide expert customer support for Zebu Emulation and Protocompiler Prototyping solutions. The role troubleshoots partitioning, synthesis, place-and-route, timing, and hardware-debug issues; migrates designs to new software releases; deploys new features; delivers training; collaborates with R&D; supports pre-sales evaluations; and occasionally travels to customer sites. Candidates need an electronics engineering degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience, along with FPGA design, RTL debugging, back-end implementation, and scripting experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering with 2–3 years of experience, or a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering with 1–2 years of experience
Required Previous Experiences: FPGA logic design and implementation, including synthesis, place-and-route, and timing closure
RTL debugging and modification using Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL
FPGA architecture and back-end implementation flows, including resource utilization, clock-domain crossing, and design partitioning
Preferred Qualifications: Xilinx or Altera synthesis tools
Synopsys Prototyping or Emulation hardware and software
PCIe, AXI, UART, or I2C interface protocols
Python, Tcl, or shell scripting
