Synopsys is hiring a Sr Staff Applications Engineer, Simulation & Debug in Bengaluru, India, to deploy and support VCS and Verdi simulation and debug platforms for customers. The role involves diagnosing UVM, gate-level, timing-aware, and low-power verification issues; leading competitive benchmarking; developing automation scripts; supporting technical escalations; and collaborating with R&D and global customer teams. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in electronics engineering or equivalent, 5–12 years of verification or application engineering experience, and strong knowledge of simulation, UVM, SystemVerilog, HDL, and scripting technologies.
