Synopsys is hiring a Senior Staff Application Engineer focused on Design for Test (DFT) in Bengaluru, India. The role works directly with semiconductor customers to understand DFT challenges and translate them into technical solutions using Synopsys DFT tools such as TestMAX Manager, TestMAX ATPG, Formality, and VCSD. Responsibilities include configuring and deploying DFT tool flows, delivering technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept implementations, automating workflows with TCL, Python, or Perl, collaborating with Account and R&D teams, and influencing product development based on customer feedback. The position requires a master's degree in a relevant technical field and 8 to 12 years of hands-on semiconductor design or DFT engineering experience.
