Synopsys is hiring a Sr. Staff Applications Engineer, Physical Implementation, in Austin, Texas. The role focuses on RTL-to-GDS implementation, synthesis, place-and-route, PPA optimization, low-power design, and advanced semiconductor EDA methodologies, including Synopsys Fusion Compiler. The engineer will solve complex customer design challenges, improve methodology and tool adoption, advise customers, influence product development, and contribute to account strategy. The position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, at least 12 years of industry experience, and strong scripting and communication skills.
