Description

Synopsys is hiring a Senior Staff Technical Applications Engineer, STA & ECO, in Ra’anana, Israel, to drive PrimeTime and PrimeClosure adoption, benchmark competing static timing analysis tools, train customer engineering teams, troubleshoot timing and signal-integrity issues, and translate customer needs into product-roadmap requirements. The role requires extensive chip-tapeout experience at 16nm or below, hands-on STA and ECO expertise, and a BSEE or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an MSEE with 3+ years.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: BSEE or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience, or MSEE with 3+ years focused on digital design, timing analysis, or applications engineering
Required Previous Experiences: At least two chip tapeouts at 16nm or below, responsible for timing closure or ECO implementation
Hands-on experience with Synopsys PrimeTime, STA, timing reports, and violation debugging
Experience with ECO flows using PTECO or PrimeClosure, including gate sizing, buffer insertion, and logic restructuring
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with TCL or Python scripting to automate analysis tasks and customize flows
