Description
Synopsys is seeking a Place-and-Route Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel. The role involves troubleshooting complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, and software; collaborating with customers; conducting training; developing technical documentation; and resolving product issues with the development team. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, semiconductor and software knowledge, extensive place-and-route experience with Innovus, IC Compiler II, or Fusion Compiler, detailed timing-analysis capability, and programming proficiency in C/C++, Python, or similar languages.
