ANSYS is hiring a Sr. Staff Applications Engineer in Austin, Texas to lead deployment and support of VLSI EDA backend software, develop technical campaigns, define customer requirements and specifications, create automated workflows, and resolve power, signal, reliability, and design-closure issues for advanced-node ASIC and SoC products. The role requires a master’s degree with six years of related experience or a bachelor’s degree with eight years of related experience, along with experience in TCL and Python, semiconductor design, large-scale software support, simulation, and workflow triage. The position may permit telecommuting from a home office within commuting distance to Austin and requires in-office work two days per week; the stated rate is $173,000 per year.
