Synopsys is hiring a Staff Applications Engineer, Digital Implementation in Penang, Malaysia, to serve as the primary technical advisor for customers implementing RTL-to-GDS digital design flows. The role leads customer onboarding, evaluations, benchmarking, and production deployments; develops and optimizes RTL-to-GDS methodologies; troubleshoots EDA tools; and influences product development through customer feedback. Candidates need expertise in digital synthesis, physical implementation, static timing analysis, advanced-node design, PPA optimization, signoff, and scripting languages such as Tcl, Python, or Perl.
