Description
Synopsys is hiring a Staff Application Engineer – STA / Signoff in Austin, Texas, to support the deployment and adoption of semiconductor signoff solutions for customers, IP providers, and foundries. The role provides hands-on technical support for static timing analysis, power integrity, signal integrity, reliability, and related tools, troubleshoots complex design issues, works with customers through pre-sales and post-sales phases, develops reusable solutions and knowledge content, and contributes to product improvement. The position requires at least five years of semiconductor design experience, strong signoff and tool expertise, customer-facing experience, and programming or scripting skills; it is not remote-eligible and offers a base salary of $112,000–$168,000.
