Description
Synopsys is hiring a Staff Engineer in Applications Engineering in Seoul, Korea, to work with semiconductor and electronics customers on signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC challenges. The role involves translating customer design problems into ANSYS HFSS, SIwave, and Q3D simulation workflows, delivering technical demonstrations, providing post-sales consulting, training customer engineering teams, supporting product development, and contributing to sales evaluations and proof-of-concept projects. The position requires a Ph.D. or M.Sc. in electrical or electronics engineering, 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, expert ANSYS electromagnetic simulation knowledge, and English fluency, with travel of up to 50% across Korea and occasionally the region.
