Synopsys is hiring a Staff Engineer for Applications Engineering in Aerospace and Defense across Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, Japan. The role leads technical discovery and solution design for Japanese aerospace and defense customers, develops Ansys CAE simulation workflows, executes demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects, supports sales and product development, creates customer training and technical content, and builds long-term technical relationships. Candidates need a bachelor's degree plus five years, a master's degree plus three years, or a PhD plus one year of hands-on computational mechanics and structural analysis experience, along with strong CAE and structural analysis expertise and native Japanese proficiency.
