Synopsys is hiring a Staff Engagement Applications Engineer to provide front-end synthesis and equivalence-checking technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel. The role involves troubleshooting complex systems, collaborating with customers, delivering training, maintaining documentation, and resolving product issues. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, 6–8 years of tape-out project experience, semiconductor and software knowledge, experience with C/C++, Perl, and Tcl, and strong understanding of ASIC design flow, VLSI, and CAD development.
