Description
The Ansys Applications Engineer will work directly with customers developing chip, package, and PCB designs to diagnose signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC challenges and recommend simulation approaches using Ansys HFSS, SIwave, and Q3D. The role also trains customer engineering teams, collaborates with product development on requirements and beta testing, and supports sales through technical evaluations, benchmarks, and proof-of-concept projects. Candidates need a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering or a related field, 3 to 5 years of experience in signal integrity, power integrity, EMC, or related areas, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time.
