ComCap is hiring a contractor Applied AI Engineer to build practical AI tools and automation for investment banking, research, and operations. The role involves developing AI solutions for research, document analysis, meeting summaries, and reporting; integrating AI with internal systems, CRMs, and company data; automating recurring tasks; validating outputs; protecting confidential information; maintaining solutions; documenting processes; and training team members. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, 2–4 years of software development or automation experience including at least one year building AI applications, strong Python, API, and SQL skills, and hands-on experience with OpenAI or Anthropic APIs and RAG. Financial services experience is a plus.
