PermitFlow is hiring an Applied AI Engineer to design and deploy AI agents that automate permitting workflows and power its pre-construction platform. The role covers model development, multi-model orchestration, productionization, evaluation, backend and frontend services, APIs, data pipelines, and platform architecture. Candidates should have at least three years of software or machine learning engineering experience after a bachelor’s or master’s degree, production AI/ML experience, and experience with multi-step ML systems or agentic workflows. The position is based in New York City with a hybrid schedule of three in-office days per week.
