Fortegra is hiring a Production Software Engineer to build and improve applied-AI systems for commercial insurance. The role focuses on document parsing, OCR, classification, routing, structured extraction, normalization, reconciliation, source grounding, retrieval, and summarization, with production engineering, evaluation, debugging, testing, observability, and service operation in Python and Azure Functions. The engineer will work with technical leads and domain experts to turn business questions and production failures into evaluated features and durable technical patterns.
