OpenAI is hiring an Applied AI Engineer focused on Codex for startups. The role partners with early-stage startups to identify opportunities for AI coding tools, leads technical talks, live demos, workshops, and hackathons, builds Codex workflows and integrations, creates reusable developer resources, and translates customer feedback into insights for OpenAI’s Product, Research, and Engineering teams. The position requires startup experience, strong software engineering fundamentals, familiarity with AI coding tools, and strong communication and presentation skills.
