Description
Overtone is hiring a founding AI Engineer to build and own AI systems powering its matchmaking product, including LLM prompting, evaluation, experimentation, observability, model serving, fine-tuning, vector-memory architectures, and responsible-AI processes. The role requires 5+ years of engineering experience, production LLM experience, Python and related backend skills, and familiarity with evaluation, vector databases, and fine-tuning techniques. It is a hands-on, early-stage position based in Overtone’s New York City office five days per week, with a salary of $200,000 to $300,000 and stock options.
