RA Capital is hiring a Senior Applied AI Scientist to design and deploy AI-driven systems that convert unstructured healthcare, scientific, and financial information into structured insights. The individual-contributor role owns projects from problem definition through deployment, evaluation, iteration, and ongoing improvement, while partnering with investment professionals and other stakeholders. The position requires a relevant bachelor’s or advanced degree, at least four years of applied machine learning or data science experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and the ability to work from RA Capital’s Boston office on a hybrid schedule.
