Description
Alloy is hiring an Applied Machine Learning Scientist to design, train, evaluate, and monitor machine learning models for fraud detection and identity risk. The role partners with customers on fraud studies, develops testing plans and metrics, supports production workflows, maintains model documentation and governance, and communicates insights to technical and non-technical audiences. Candidates need 8+ years of applied fraud research, data science, or machine learning experience, expertise with imbalanced datasets and tree-based models, strong Python and SQL skills, and experience processing large-scale data. The position is based in the Greater New York City area, with a hybrid schedule requiring onsite work Tuesdays through Thursdays at Alloy’s Union Square, Manhattan headquarters.
