OpenTable is hiring a Machine Learning Scientist to prototype, evaluate, and productionize machine learning systems for restaurant content understanding, retrieval, matching, ranking, and recommendation. The role involves building scalable data and machine learning pipelines, designing evaluation frameworks, applying large language models and multimodal approaches, developing reusable ML tooling, and collaborating with engineering, product, and content teams. It is a hybrid position requiring two days per week in the office, based in Toronto, Canada, with compensation of $170,000-$190,000 CAD including commission and/or bonuses.
