CEA-Leti is hiring an Applied Microfluidics Research Engineer for a 36-month fixed-term contract in Grenoble, France. The role develops and validates a device for monitoring pathogens in the environment, covering microfluidic system design and modeling, detection-modality integration, prototyping, functional testing, performance evaluation, solution maturation, and analysis automation. Candidates should have a PhD or engineering degree in microfluidics, applied physics, or an equivalent field, experience designing microfluidic devices for biology and healthcare, proficiency in CAD and Python, and experience with microfluidic manufacturing, characterization, and electrochemical analyte detection.
