Description
Apple’s Cellular Software team is seeking a PhD student or researcher to develop applied AI/ML solutions and core cellular technologies for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and other wireless products. The role involves research prototyping, analyzing model failures, improving model performance and generalization, and translating research ideas into solutions for real-world engineering data. Candidates should have strong machine learning, statistics, optimization, programming, and software engineering fundamentals, with knowledge of LLMs, generative AI, transformers, RAG, or AI agents desirable.
