Description
The ATLAS Muon LS3 Integration and Installation Manager will coordinate installation, integration, maintenance, and upgrade activities for the ATLAS Muon detector during Long Shutdown 3 (2026–2030). The role serves as the primary liaison between Muon sub-projects and ATLAS Technical Coordination, monitors the integrated schedule, resolves interface and resource issues, chairs coordination meetings, and prepares documentation. It requires experience coordinating complex detector or scientific-installation projects, multidisciplinary planning, safety systems, and a PhD or equivalent relevant experience in Physics or a related field. The position is fully onsite in radiation and underground areas, requires medical clearance, and has an ideal start date of 1 January 2027.
