Description
Higharc is hiring an Applied Research Engineer to take spatial AI research into production for its home-design platform. The role owns the component layer around a layout synthesis engine, including APIs, evaluation gates, model retraining, latency and cost budgets, and new capabilities such as multi-story plans and real-time editing. The engineer will work with existing architecture, partner on MLOps and deployment, mentor researchers and interns, and communicate through documentation and pull requests. The position requires at least five years of professional software development, including two years training and shipping machine learning models, along with Python, PyTorch, structured building data, evaluation harnesses, API packaging, and a relevant master's degree or equivalent shipped work.
