Prime Video is hiring an Applied Scientist to lead research and development of speech and audio generation technology, including end-to-end speech-to-speech architecture, audio processing, source separation, enhancement, and mixing. The role partners with solution development teams, defines research roadmaps, communicates technical direction to senior leadership, publishes research, and brings external advances into production systems. Candidates should have at least three years of business-model-building experience, a PhD or a master's degree with four or more years of experience in computer science, computer engineering, machine learning, or a related field, and programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or a related language. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 142,800 to 193,200 USD annually.
