Microsoft is hiring an Applied Scientist for its Azure Speech team to develop multilingual speech models, speech LLMs, model customization, and multimodal generative AI for real-time transcription, voice agents, video translation, and call centre analytics. The role owns technical direction, model quality, data engineering, analysis, innovation, customer solutions, and technical leadership, with opportunities to mentor peers and contribute to patents and publications. It is an on-site position in Hyderabad or Bengaluru and remains open for applications until filled.
