Description
The Apprentice Carpenter supports Colonial Williamsburg’s Education and Preservation Mission by learning and demonstrating 18th-century carpentry, conducting historical research, assisting in historically accurate building construction, and delivering interpretive presentations to guests. The role combines hands-on traditional trade work with public education, requires a high school degree or G.E.D. and general knowledge of colonial history, and offers a 5-day, 40-hour workweek with compensation of $20.30 to $22.10.
