Compass Group Australia is hiring a full-time Apprentice Chef in Melbourne CBD to work across corporate suite catering and high-volume event production. The role involves assisting senior chefs with preparation, station service, knife work, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness while completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Commercial Cookery through workplace support and scheduled TAFE training. Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents, have a passion for cooking and hospitality, strong teamwork and communication skills, flexibility for event-based rosters including the Australian Open, and a strong work ethic; hospitality experience in a fast-paced bulk-cooking environment is desirable.
